In 1989, the Jupiter company was acquired by Frammatome/FCI. Jupiter had manufactured under license by LEMO ®, and served the French market for 30 years. Although no longer under license from LEMO ®, the products developed while Jupiter was licensed are now available as Souriau's JAX, JBX & JKX series. These connectors are not "reverse engineered" LEMO ® connectors, and in fact were marked with the LEMO ® name while Jupiter was under license. The JBX series is fully intermateable with LEMO's ® B series and the JKX is fully intermateable with LEMO's ® K series and the JAX is intermateable with LEMO's ® S series multi-contact connectors. Souriau® has the broadest LEMO ® S,B, K and NIM-CAMAC Series product offering of any of our product lines, and Alpine is pleased to be able to offer these LEMO ® alternative connectors to our customers........NOW YOU HAVE A CHOICE!
